The Story
Founded in June 2024, The People's Dad emerged from my experience as a first-time single father after my partner and I separated.
With shared custody and no local family or close friends with children, I quickly recognized the challenges single fathers face and the lack of community support. Finding kid-friendly activities, preparing healthy meals, sourcing educational content, and planning events were all difficult due to scattered guidance.
I also observed a rising number of fathers taking on shared or sole custody, emphasizing the need for and a supportive community.
The People's Dad is 501(c)(3) not-for-profit dedicated to providing practical guidance and fostering a network that helps fathers thrive.​​​​
